A small village located in the heart of the AOC Madiran, Pacherenc-du-Vic-Bilh and Béarn areas, it is famous for a residence, the Château de Diusse, whose oldest parts date back to the 17th century. Since that time, the structure of the building and the gardens have evolved enormously, notably with a terrace offering a beautiful view of the Pyrenees. Today, part of the building houses a work aid centre which exploits 15 hectares of vines. The village is also famous for its Romanesque church, Saint-Jean-Baptiste, from the 11th and 12th centuries, where the Count of Armagnac and the Viscount of Béarn swore in 1104 "to keep the peace and truce of God".
