Since May 20th, the Musée de Tessé with, among others, its astonishing Egyptian tombs (partner of the Louvre Museum) and the Musée Jean-Claudre Boulard - Carré Plantagenêt have reopened their doors to visitors from Le Mans and its region.
These two museums welcome visitors again from Tuesday to Sunday from 10am to 12.30pm and from 2pm to 6pm. Of course, all sanitary measures have been respected in order to offer the best possible conditions to visitors (provision of hydroalcoholic gel at the reception desk; number of visitors limited to 30 at the same time - 10 for the Egyptian Gallery and the temporary exhibition Image N'Magie -; closed cloakrooms; lifts limited to 1 person, etc.).

The Green and Queen Berengaria Museums remain closed to the public for the moment. The opportunity to take advantage, if not yet done, of the temporary exhibition "Image N'Magie", extended until November 29th at the Musée Jean-Claude Boulard - Carré Plantagenêt and of the permanent collections of the Musée de Tessé.

About the exhibition "Image N'Magie" :
In Image'n magic, the gaze is invited to explore images within the image where multiplications, superimpositions, reversals, groups or isolated figures constantly create not illusions but magic. Many cultures in #Oceania, #Africa or #America have used these means with virtuosity... This is what you are invited to discover, through 50 works from the collections of the Musée du quai Branly - Jacques Chirac. In your turn, approach the underlying messages that only the initiated can usually decipher through these magical or marvellous apparitions!
