This municipality of the Sarthe, close to Saint-Léonard-des-Bois, has 900 inhabitants and is deployed along the meanings of Sarthe. The castral Motte, located in the center of the town, has been showcased since 1998 and is truly worth a stopover. In 1426, during the Hundred Years War, the tower of wood that surpassed it and its lower courtyard was burned by the English. Among the historic monuments of the village are the beautiful vestiges of the Manoir de l 'Echenay (xve-xvie centuries), rue de la Paviotte, and close to the feudal moodle of the Madeleine chapel, built in 1470 on the location of an ancient Templière maladrery. This ensemble makes up a remarkable historic site in the middle of the greenery where you can spend a pleasant time. In summer, some animations and sightseeing.
