This commune on the left bank of the Gave d'Oloron, includes two villages: Camblong and Castelnau mentioned in the cartulary of Lucq in the 13th century. To see, beautiful residences, fountains, wash houses, vestiges of fortifications and a medieval mound. A long history as its name testifies: Castelnau from castellum (castle) and from nau/naou (new) and Camblong from campus and camp (long field). It is also known that a Roman camp had been established there. From the top of the côte d'Arande, there is a beautiful view of the chapels of Saint-Antoine and the Madeleine as well as groups of stones - gastellus - which are signs of prehistoric occupation.
