A typical village in the valley, Buzy rises to an altitude of 380 metres. A secular abbey since the end of the 15th century, the town has the privilege of owning one of the only chisels that exist in Béarn: it represents in a block of marble the funerary statue of a child of Buzy, Joannès de Aula, alias Jean de Lassalle, bishop in the 16th century. The Saint-Saturnin church, the dolmen, the fountains and washhouses, the noble houses and the Béarnaise farms confirm its agricultural vocation. But this village is best known for its archaeological remains, a dolmen that ensured pregnant women a trouble-free delivery and a rock called Tebern. A slab covered with inscriptions reminiscent of a sky chart completes these traces of the past. It is visible at the Arudy Museum. A pedestrian circuit even allows you to walk in the footsteps of their ancestors and walk around the famous dolmen.
