A hike to Chinon, to visit a magnificent Romanesque church retracing the lives of Saint Peter and Saint Florent.
The church was built between the second half of the 12th and the beginning of the 13th century in Romanesque style. It lost its original portal in 1674 when lightning struck it and was rebuilt in the Counter-Reformation style. It has a superb Plantagenet vault, 15th century stalls with carved figures, but above all a magnificent series of 16th century tapestries depicting the lives of Saint Peter and Saint Florent. On Saturday morning, the market of regional products animates the place.

Maintenant que cette église a été consolidée (sol alluvionnaire compliqué) et en grande partie restaurée, on peut bien plus l'admirer, notamment ses éléments Renaissance de belle qualité.
