Its landscapes, labelled "Vignobles et découvertes", are crossed by the Loire and its branch, the Louet. At the foot of the Angevine ledge, numerous hiking trails criss-cross the alluvial meadows. The hillsides are covered with quality vineyards. The town produces Coteaux-du-Layon AOC: a sweet wine with a golden yellow colour. It will be of particular interest to wine lovers who will also be able to discover two crus of sweet wines of excellent reputation produced here exclusively: the thatch and the quarts-de-chaume. Cellar visits, discovery tours, a "guinguette", camping and guest rooms will make for a pleasant stay.
