The 400 m² space is full of surprises! On one side is the full-length bar, with its small tile roofs, beams and cartwheel, and next to it, a few barrels on which to enjoy a beer from an exceptional selection - 250 including 18 on draught - to accompany a plancha of foie gras, boudin, pâté, cheese.... The wine cellar has been expanded into a beautiful space: you can taste wines from the ⁵⁰ bottles on offer, with concerts once a month... In another area opposite the bar, a number of pallets and crates on the floor are ready to be taken away. On sale from single bottles to assorted beers.

A 400-seat venue with a documentation center, four rehearsal rooms, a recording studio and even an artists' residence, the Route du Son is the musical counterpart to the Bel Ordinaire. It is the Centre de Musiques Actuelles de la Communauté d'agglomération Pau Pyrénées. It is run by the musical association L'Ampli, which promotes contemporary music in the south-west of France, as well as by other associations such as ACP, A Tant Rêver du Roi and Pau Concert Production. La Route du Son accompanies initiatives and projects, providing support for production, welcoming musicians, distribution and information.
