The centerpiece of this village linked to Angers is of course the castle of Plessis-Bourré! A historical monument since 1931, this building is original to say the least: built in the middle of a lake (square!), you need a forty-three meter long bridge to get there. Its park is an important place of the ecuilléenne life where you will find - especially in the summer period - concerts, exhibitions, jousts and other festivals. The estate is particularly honoured during the Rendez-vous aux jardins in June, a national initiative that aims to raise awareness of the history and know-how of these places of beauty that have endured through the ages.
