Le Royalty, an institution since 1929, has welcomed generations of artists, sportsmen and women and other celebrities, as well as the anonymous faithful who make every day a new story. In the heart of Biarritz, the address is a must with its large terrace and white tablecloths. Pascal Ondarts, a former rugby international who is now the restaurant's trainer, makes his mark and transforms every lunch or dinner. The menu reflects this same spirit, featuring bistro-style cuisine with a South-West accent.

Owner's Message

The Royalty and the Place Clémenceau have accompanied the fabulous history of Biarritz (Basque Country)!

Originally a small whaling port, the fate of the town changed in the 19th century, when the ravishing Eugénie de Montigo convinced her husband, Emperor Napoleon III, to build an imperial residence there.

Since then, the gotha of the whole world, then generations of artists, sportsmen and various personalities settled there a few days or a few months and made of it the queen city of the seaside resort and the thermal spa.

Today the capital of surfing and snowboarding, Biarritz and its Basque coast have been consecrated "California of Europe" by the NY Times.

The Royalty is said to be an institution and a myth, it is said that all the faces of those who have frequented it, celebrities or anonymous faithful, make each day a new story.

We are happy to write this new page of the Royalty with each of you, and proud to be the successors of this already mythical place.

Muy mala experiencia, por parte del camarero una persona muy desagradable.
Llegamos unas 11 personas y con una actitud mala no nos quiso atender.
Estábamos dispuestos a separarnos para que se no se less haga difícil juntar mesas.
Y no tenía ni la intención que entremos.

No sé cómo describir su actitud.

No consumimos porque el trato nos dejó mala pasada.

Antes que todo está el servicio que das.

Incroyable!!! Si vous êtes de passage à Biarritz surtout je vous conseille cet endroit, cuisine délicieuse, qualité des produits, présentation digne d’un restaurant gastronomique et sans parler du service qui a été impeccable du début à la fin. On y a passé un très bon moment en famille et on y retournera sans hésiter.
