BREZE CASTLE
Read moreIt has been in the same family for over 400 years! As you will see when you visit the basement, this château is listed as a major producer of dry white wines. The wines of Brézé were already praised in the 15th century by King René, and Du Bellay wrote, a century later: "His nectar seasons us, nectar gives it to us, my sweet Brézé vineyard". It extends over 26 hectares and still produces wines typical of the southern Saumur region. If the visit can take all day, the tasting is essential at the end of the tour and you will leave with some good bottles.
