Saumur-champigny, bonnezeaux, vouvray, saint-nicolas-de-bourgueil: are these names familiar to you? You're tasting them in a glass, so why not take a tour of these famous vineyards of the Loire Valley? This is what the Interprofession des Vins du Val-de-Loire, well known to wine professionals for its logistical and technical assistance, offers. Its mission is also to introduce the general public to this environment and it has been doing this perfectly for more than 15 years with "Vignes-Vins-Randos". You should know that the valley is classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, sorry for the lack of information! The 3-hour hikes are punctuated by cultural and gourmet breaks during which a winegrower shares his passion and know-how with you, over a drink and local products. Visits of vineyards and cellars, anecdotes and analysis of the landscape: this is a unique opportunity to (re)discover the land and the terroir of the Loire Valley, with a new eye. Discovery of the fauna and flora, local heritage and flavours are skillfully blended for an oenological, ecological and intelligent tourism that the little ones can also appreciate during family walks of 2 hours (non-alcoholic tastings!). Equipped with the hiker's kit, everyone is able to better understand the sensory and geographical route, with the glass not in hand, but around their neck! Finally, some walks are open to bicycles.
