CHAI DAM'S

Petit Futé's opinion on CHAI DAM'S

Cuisine of seasonal products to be tasted in a superb restaurant with wine bar and cellar in Angers.
At the same time restaurant, wine bar and cellar, this three-en-one establishment had seduced us from its opening. Damien Bouancheau, a sommelier chef offers lunch, slate menus with fresh seasonal produce. The deco is like the dishes: simple, clean, elegant with its nice parquet flooring, its large glass bay overlooking the street and, more unusual, some swing chairs suspended from the ceiling for the most inclined guests to return to childhood! In the plates, nothing complicated, we remain simple as with this rolling of ham of ham or better a duo of asparagus with toast and Parmesan. On the flat side, we could wait a little better from the sauté of veal to season vegetables, but yellow chicken at coriander kept its promises. The best for the end with the rhubarb crumble. The rates increase a little in the evening, but the refinement of the dishes also… Weakness: always a slight lack of boldness in the presentation and originality of certain dishes. Talents: The wine cellar is a real success, always smiling service and quiet geographical location.
