LES TRÉSORS DU LIBAN

Excellent Lebanese cuisine to be tasted in a superb restaurant in downtown Angers.

It would have been a pity if the city center of Angers did not count at least a true representative of Lebanese cuisine! Saliva from the entrance, facing the glass counter with falafels (cereal beads to coriander and spices) and samboussec (small slippers with meat or vegetables). To access the rest of these treasures, a small corridor is used as a grocery store (beers, wines, gourmets, decay objects…) to take place in a sober but elegant decor room. The must of noon remains the gourmet base, a rich assortment of 10 mezzes cold and warm. Housoft, aubergine caviar, arayin (stuffed Lebanese bread stuffed with minced meat), marinated chicken wings, tarama… Every specialty is one without fault! Coriander and lemon occupy a place of choice, as for kafta bissinyé, a dish of ground beef and mijoed in a mixture of courgettes, peppers, carrots, potatoes, onions and tomato coulis… Accompany all this with a glass of Kefraya (excellent Lebanese red) and the fun will be total! Weaknesses: some of the dishes of the day not always available at the time of the order. Talents: a lovely welcome and the possibility to use catering service.
