Excellent Indian cuisine in an authentic and exotic restaurant in Angers.
A little off the beaten track from the heart of the city, India is nevertheless worth a visit. It is a journey into the world of Central Indian cuisine, flavored with Indian herbs, Himalayan rice, and ancestral know-how, including recipes inspired by the Emperor Akbar or the culinary art of Madras. In this typical setting with heavy drapes, you can taste delicious curries, massala and vindaloo, without forgetting the biryani and the numerous desserts with a great flavour. A little more exotic: it is possible to eat there, Indian style, sitting cross-legged on cushions.

petit restaurant qui ne paye pas de mine d'extérieur, pas évident à trouver mais cela vaut le détour: cuisine de qualité et dépaysement garanti (coussins pour s'asseoir...)

Restaurant difficult to find, but very nice and exotic. The food is good and makes you discover flavours of Asie.L' welcome is good, the setting is not bad and can eat sitting on cousins is original.
Very warm welcome. Unlike the previous opinions, the decor may seem a little offbeat but corresponds exactly the Indian culture.
We sitting on cushions on the floor, it is an ideal restaurant for a meal.
The cuisine is delicious, and is suitable for all tolerances with spices...
In short: try!

I suppose that the previous opinion (Richard Max) is an error. India can not be half Thai 100% Indian. Perhaps it confuses with Thai India rue de la Roë, which is him a mix of the two countries. The owner is Indian and Thai wife. So if it comments on us India, I share his feeling, this old restaurant Angers is more than las in its in general. however, the Thai India, if it is not always regular, offers a cuisine rich of flavours, pluspart. One often hear boasts in its opposition and I share these good opinions overall.
