The Nantes Carnival is an ancient tradition that has taken many forms. Discover parades, floats, music and confetti!
The Nantes carnival has a date with the people of Nantes, with its floats, big heads, colorful parades, music and confetti throwing. Last year, Manou, lead singer of Elmer Foot Beat, was crowned King of the Carnival. The atmosphere is guaranteed! The carnival takes place over three days, with three parades: a parade on Sunday, a children's parade on Wednesday and a night parade the following Saturday evening. The 200 or so volunteers who work in the workshops throughout the year will once again demonstrate their imagination when it comes to decorating the superb floats, some of which reach 8 metres in height... To the delight of young and old alike.
