This traditional restaurant, just a stone's throw from Place Viarme, invites you to awaken your taste buds. Two indoor dining rooms, a terrace overlooking the courtyard and a private dining room await you. A fine performance by chef Nicolas Bellanger, well known in Nantes! He worked for a long time at the carré blanc in Saint-Herblain, and now he's on his own! The service is particularly attentive, the dishes well presented, and the decor uncluttered. The cuisine is refined, inventive and accessible, just like the menus: croq burger of marinated scallops, rocket and corn or, for example, pressed foie gras with quince and chestnut chutney. For the main course, braised veal entrecôte, truffle jus, primroses and radish pickles or P'tit Lu-crusted sea bream, Nantes lamb's lettuce risotto. The final sweet touch is provided by a caramelized crème brûlée with exotic fruit nage, or a chocolate cream with spicy cocoa mandarins. Try the chef's fois gras and take it away (for the festive season). A great neighborhood address to discover.
