Delicious Lebanese flavours made with fresh products just a few steps away from Saint-Similien square.
Just a stone's throw from Place Saint-Similien, in a warm and welcoming atmosphere, you'll find delicious Lebanese flavours made with fresh produce! At Jany's, you'll have a choice of sublime mezzés: the house fatayeers with four flavors (fragrant beef fritters, curried chicken, spinach, cheese), hummus (chickpea purée, sesame cream, lemon and garlic), tabbouleh (parsley salad, tomatoes, cracked wheat, mint), moutabal (eggplant caviar, yogurt cream, sesame cream), el-rahib salad (eggplant, tomato, onion, bell pepper), lebné (yogurt cream, cucumber, garlic), chankliche (salad, sheep's cheese, parsley, tomato, onion), moudardara (rice, onion, green lentils)... You can also choose the dish of the day, like these tasty meatballs in tomato sauce that day... To accompany your meal, you can try Kazouza brand Lebanese soda or Almaza Lebanese beer. And to finish off, you can't help but indulge in the delicious homemade baklawa with pistachios, which can be accompanied by an organic coffee, another house specialty. Jany is also a trained barista, so it's a warm place for an excellent latte or organic coffee, just a stone's throw from the Tour de Bretagne. When it comes to decor, Janya's sober, elegant choices create a cosy atmosphere. An excellent address that transports you to a delicate Orient!

i dont recommend at all, personal review from a lebanese foodie
worst experience. we came in for the 'lebanese brunch' to share for 2 but all we received was a portion for 1/2 person and double the price
the 'galette zaatar' was plain lebanese bread with a pinch of zaatar thrown into it
the 'foul' was a revisited foul version that doesn't even exist and tastes horrible to be honest.
hommos u can get anywhere at any local store for 1/2 of the price
when we finally asked the waiter if this portion was temporary and if we'll get other plates after he said no which made it even more shocking
50€ for homos and scrambled beans and 2 eggs is not at all worth it, you might as well make everything yourself at home or visit a real lebanese restaurant without being lied to such as 'le comptoir libanais'
it was honestly an offense to lebanese cuisine that is known by the generous portions (coming from a lebanese myself) and 1 star is more than enough (0 is more realistic)

We are vegans, and this little restaurant ticked all our boxes! There was a lot of choice, and the chef chose dishes for us to share. There was hardly enough space on our two tables for all the dishes!! Nice staff, delicious food, and I would recommend this restaurant as a must for vegans visiting Nantes!
