Bibimbox is the name of the ^first Korean restaurant opened in Nantes in January 2016 by the French Korean Jinok, a smiling young woman who welcomes you and her team a stone's throw from Place Viarme. The Bibimbox takes its name from a typical Korean dish, the Bibimpap, served in a box for lunch break... And in this Bibimpap, there is a mixture of marinated meats (beef, chicken, pork), rice, vegetables sautéed in soy sauce or spicy, which the most rushed will take to the office for lunch and which the others will enjoy on site in one of the 2 small rooms. At lunch, the different Bibimbox formulas are made in front of you. You can have the chopsticks or the fork for the less reckless ones! Among the formulas, try vegetarian, chicken, spicy pork, or bulgogi, or fish. Option soup type "miso", drinks or Korean desserts. It's good, copious and we have the joy of tasting 5 vegetables every day from the Talensac market. Korean cuisine is renowned as one of the healthiest and most balanced in the world, so you can do yourself some good! In the evening, the cuisine is more elaborate, with the traditional Korean metal chopsticks! A typical Korean cuisine: starters, main courses and desserts are served in the adorable little adjoining room where dinner will be served flush with the ground, seated on the carpets (the first room, however, allows you to sit in a western style). In the evening as a starter, try Mandus: Korean vegetable ravioli, or Pajon (vegetable cakes) or Japchae (sweet potato vermicelli fried with vegetables). In dish the essential Bibimbap served this time in a hot hot stone bowl from the oven that still lets the food simmer inside. As for desserts: hoddok (Korean crepe), homemade ice creams with surprising flavours such as yuzu, green tea, black sesame... or yuzu lemon chocolate half-cooked. Copious, good and validated by the UNESCO World Heritage... and also by the gourmands of Nantes!
