Between the Loire and the Vilaine, integrated into the Brière Regional Park and the Trois Rivières Welcome Country, the commune is seductive because of its bocage landscapes and the richness of its heritage. Here stands the superb and majestic castle of La Bretesche, built on the site of the residence of the barons of La Roche-Bernard in the Middle Ages. But this is not the only richness of the town, you will also admire: the church Saint-Pierre-et-Saint-Paul, the hospice Saint-Charles, the dolmen of the Roche aux Loups, the chapels and manors for example. Missillac is one of the 18 communes that make up the territory of the Brière Regional Nature Park.
