The Cloître de Bayonne, a must-see site in the city and one of the most spacious in France, with its many enfeus.
Panoramic view of the city of Bayonne. Adjacent to the southern flank of the cathedral, this cloister is an exceptional site not to be missed, as it is one of the most spacious in France, and almost everything about it is reminiscent of 13th-century Radiant Gothic. A place of communal and religious life, the cloister is home to numerous burial vaults and tombstones, including the tomb of Léopoldine de Lorraine, lady-in-waiting to the Queen of Spain. For more than 30 years, the GAAPA (Groupement d'Artisans d'Art des Pyrénées-Atlantiques) has organized the Bayonne cloister arts and crafts exhibition.

Après la cathédrale ne loupez surtout pas le petit marché artisanal dans le cloître, c'est très divertissant et même instructif ! En plus on est à l'ombre... ;) Ensuite sortez au fond directement dans les ruelles du centre ville, c'est très plaisant.

Petit cloître très reposant bien ensoleillé. C'est très joli, bien restauré. Entrée possible depuis la rue sans passer par la Cathédrale mais il faut aller y jeter un oeil quand même !! ça vaut le coup !
