The Art et Essai l'Atalante cinema, with its 3 screening rooms, its exhibition area and its architecture that resembles nothing you've ever seen, makes room for the little gems of the genre, in their original version with subtitles... European cinema has a clear preference, but if a film is good, no matter where it comes from, you can be sure it's coming to Bayonne! We also love the concerts and entertainment, always linked to the film being shown or the cycle in progress. Enjoy tapas, wine or beer on the terrace. An established reputation!

Très bien mais....
5/5 pour la programmation, l'animation, mais un zéro pointé pour ne pas avoir pensé aux mal-entendants : un cinéma refait à neuf sans boucle magnétique..en 2019!bien dommage.

Un cinéma associatif qui est devenu une institution sur la côte basque. Une programmation éclectique, des rencontres, des choix engagés, des expos, un bar chaleureux... Un lieu d'une grande richesse.

Voici un cinéma associatif comme chaque ville devrait en avoir! Avec une programmation très, très hétéroclite qui permet, à prix raisonnable, de se régaler de ces films qui ne font pas l'affiche des " grands" cinémas. Un bar crée un coin sympa; l'ambiance, qui brasse toutes les générations ( jeunes adultes, retraités...) est sympa. Juste pas toujours très facile de se garer dans la quartier!!
