A detour through this small village and its abbeys is a must! The Saint-Paul abbey, of a remarkable architecture with its turrets, took place in 1889 in a former castle of the XVth and XVIIIth centuries. Its bell tower houses the Bertine, a 2,600 kg bell cast in 1470 for the Saint-Bertin abbey. The place still has a monastic activity: the potteries made by the monks are on sale in the store. And if you get up at mass time, you will hear the Gregorian chants that go up to the vaults, at 9:45 am every day. The Notre-Dame abbey, only one kilometer away, is also superb with its panoramic view conducive to meditation.
