Between town and marsh, on the banks of the River Aa, lies this late 19th-century maison de maître. Marble fireplaces, moldings, wooden floors... The two bedrooms and the family suite, with their romantic, sobritish decor, are exquisitely tasteful. A quiet, enclosed garden planted with trees is available to guests. Breakfasts are personalized with homemade jams and cakes, served outdoors in the winter garden or in front of the fireplace, depending on the season.

Super cute, super central with super parking. The hosts were so welcoming and the breakfast was just the cherry on top, yummy!

The bedroom room was clean and spacious. Well appointed with tea/ coffee etc. The bathroom was also clean with an excellent shower.

They went above and beyond by moving their car out of their garage so we could park our motorcycles securely under cover. Many thanks.

Breakfast was excellent.

The town centre is a short walk away of evening meals etc.

Would stay again in the future.
