Church featuring a superb organ by André Silbermann, a wooden Virgin of Pity, a pulpit...

Marmoutier's spiritual influence continued into the 13th century. The west facade, built around 1150, features an open porch with three arcades, flanked by two square towers. The south façade illustrates the Romanesque period. The nave and transept are Gothic, and the choir dates from the 18th century. Inside the church, you'll find a superb organ by André Silbermann, a wooden Virgin of Pity, a 15th-century pulpit, a 17th-century cenotaph and fine choir stalls.

Abbey too unknown, enjoy a concert organ to admire the accoustique one and magestée of the place, fantastic, but too unknown, very beautiful museum opposite, but unfortunately with too limited opening hours (magnificent collection of objects from Jewish worship), finish with a promenade calvaries, and you will have spent a magnificent daily with usual tourist routes!
