The Acary de la Rivière Hotel was built in 1810 by the Marshal of the same name. Its particular layout between courtyard and garden, its architecture and the finesse of the sculpted decoration of the facade make it one of the most beautiful residences in Montreuil. Bequeathed to the town in 1978 by its last owner, this mansion now houses the Frank and Mary Wooster Museum of Hope. In addition to its historical and architectural interest, its collections of paintings and furniture from the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries are worth a visit.
