The commune lies on the Route de Saint-Jacques-de-Compostelle, more precisely the Route du Puy, which passes through Arthez-de-Béarn. The village boasts three chapels, a unique feature in France. The best-known is the Romanesque chapel of Caubin, less than a kilometer from the village center. It was built by order of Gaston IV, Viscount of Béarn. The chapel houses the recumbent tomb of a knight in chain mail. Nearly 4,000 Compostelle pilgrims stop here every year. From here, you can admire a magnificent view of the sumptuous Pyrenees mountain range! The chapel is listed as a Monument Historique.
