CPY means Permanent Center of Initiatives for the Environment. The Terrils Chain CPIE is an association created in 1989 to protect, enhance and animate the landforms of the entire mining basin. It also aims to encourage the eco-citizen involvement of the inhabitants while changing their eyes to the industrial and natural heritage surrounding them. Through guided tours of mine sites, it is a whole history and a eco-system that reveals itself. Many discovery and sports activities are offered to families, adventurers and sportsmen.
