The castle of Arricau dominates the village. The building has existed since the 14th century. It has been classified as a Historic Monument since 1988 and has a watchtower. It is the subject of a specific classification as well as various furniture objects, such as a 17th century host iron, a discoidal stele (typical of Basque cemeteries) from the 16th century and a 18th century holy water font. Today, toponymy refers to Arricau-Bordes by associating it with another building, the Château de Bordes, from the 18th century. In addition, in Bordes there is a church, Saint-Jean-Baptiste, dating from the 11th century.
