The canton of Fauquembergues protects its 18 communes in the hollow of the hills of the Haut-Pays d'Artois. The villages have preserved their rural heritage: about twenty churches, the most remarkable of which are those of Wandonne-Audincthun, Fauquembergues, Merck-Saint-Liévin and Febvin-Palfart, chapels recounting the devotion of the countryside, castles, water mills... So many monuments, stories and legends - Joan of Arc's sword is said to have been sealed in the walls of the church of Saint-Pierre-d'Audincthun - to be discovered on your walks.
