FÊTE DE LA BEURIÈRE

The traditional fête de la Beurière has been held since 1994 within the framework of the European Heritage Days. It was an initiative of the folklore group Les Soltelle Boulonnais, aimed at rediscovering the typical neighborhood of the fishermen of the city. The houses built in the cliff of the rue du Mâchicoulis are an emblematic element of the architectural heritage and collective memory of the inhabitants. Dressed in traditional costumes, the members of the association parade there in front of the delighted public. Herring tasting on top of everything!
