Chapel in altitude built following the apparition of the Virgin to a shepherd in a hawthorn bush, accessible on foot by the GR10

At an altitude of 389 m, it overlooks the village. This small sanctuary is said to have been built after the Virgin Mary appeared to a young shepherd in a hawthorn bush: legend or reality? From here, a unique panoramic view of Ainhoa, Sare, La Rhune, the Xareta cirque and the Nivelle valley can be enjoyed on foot, via the GR10, which climbs a hill with 13 white crosses and takes an hour to reach the oratory from the village and back. It can also be reached by car.
