An air of Greek island splashes over this tiny village, an old medieval town, 5 km inland from Guéthary, with the 17th century church of Saint-Martin and its cemetery perched on a small promontory. The church, let's talk about it, has a spectacular bell tower with two unequal bays, and inside an altarpiece of the XVIIIth century, a Virgin, a statue of Saint Jacques (the village was an old stopover of the pilgrims of Compostelle) and a splendid processional cross in gilded silver of the XVIth. The cemetery that surrounds the church with its wooden galleries has discoidal steles and a particularity, fleur-de-lis on the inscriptions.
