Town of the urban community of Arras, Achicourt has preserved the typical houses of the region which make its charm. Among the must-sees, don't miss the Tourelle windmill, a windmill dating from the 14th century, rebuilt identically in the 1990s. It is one of the last windmills in activity. The visit is worth the detour: once at the top of the windmill, you can enjoy a beautiful view of the surroundings and can even see the cathedral of Arras! Another windmill was installed in the commune of Achicourt: the Hacart mill, unfortunately destroyed by shells during the Great War.
