Located in the heart of the North of France (30 minutes from Lille), the town of Wallers-Arenberg benefits from a natural attractiveness thanks to its 500 hectares of forest, several bodies of water: the Mare à Goriaux (which is a bird sanctuary) and the Remprez pond. The Paris-Roubaix cycle race has also highlighted the famous Arenberg gap or Wallers-Arenberg trench. With a length of 2 300 meters, it is known to be a particularly difficult passage. Several elements of the built heritage are remarkable: the Grange Dimière, the Saint-Vaast church or the Arenberg mining site, a beautiful example of the mining era.
