Tournon is a former royal bastide built around 1270. It dominates the Boudouyssou valley from a superb and impressive rocky promontory. Tournon-d'Agenais is still surrounded by ramparts. This small town of 800 inhabitants has a beautiful heritage: the former residence of the bishops of Agen, the belfry (built in 1637 on the Place des Cornières) with its wooden bell tower, a clock and an amazing moon dial. In the church of Saint-André-de-Carabaisse, you can admire beautiful wall paintings and an interesting bell tower-water tower. Tourtière fair, culinary speciality of the village, every 15th August.
