Inclined at 44.3°, this track promises you real thrills! No need to come equipped, all the equipment is provided on site (bike, shoes, helmets and gloves). The velodrome also organizes discovery sessions of cycling on track open to all, even to the little ones. A really nice activity to do with family or friends. Moreover, the velodrome opens its track to more experienced cyclists, licensed or not, who want to exercise in a unique place. But the Stab is not only a cycling track, it also has badminton courts, weight rooms and even a BMX track managed by the Vélo Club de Roubaix. A temple of leisure sports, the Stab also hosts many prestigious competitions. It thus hosted the track cycling championships in September 2017. Finally, you should know that the place offers rooms and spaces for rent for your conferences and seminars. Quite an original meeting place, isn't it? Something to motivate participants! In short, the covered velodrome of Roubaix is a welcoming place, offering activities for all and especially unique sensations and emotions!

The Roubaix velodrome has been known as the finishing point for the legendary Paris - Roubaix race since 1943! Since 2012, alongside this famous race track, a covered velodrome has also been in operation, featuring a 250 m wooden track with a 44.3 degree incline. The Stab Vélodrome is always busy, with thousands of people discovering track cycling during introductory courses, track baptisms or regional, national and even European competitions. The track is also used by club members all year round. Alongside the Stab, you can also take advantage of a BMX track run by the Véloclub de Roubaix, where introductory courses are available. By offering fitness classes, a weight room and badminton courts, the Stab has become a multi-activity venue in Roubaix not to be missed. It is also the venue for numerous corporate seminars. The tourist office offers guided tours of the historic site and indoor velodrome with a cycling enthusiast.

On the occasion of the 2010 Heritage Days, the city of Roubaix, a city of art and history, brought to the honour its canal by producing a virtual exhibition: The Canal/A Roubaisienne, presented since September 2010 on the digital library of Roubaix, from the collections of the library and municipal archives. The result is an exciting interactive document, on the history but should the topicality of the canal de Roubaix, to look on its screen, with photographs of archives and a very interesting chronology of this canal, its construction, navigation, fishing… You can also download and print a small document that summarizes history. A very nice achievement!

At Colorama, colors are everywhere! Here, it's in the brilliant indoor skatepark initiated by the no less brilliant Condition Publique in Roubaix. Designed by the famous agency Yinka Ilori (colorful shapes are its trademark!), it is a meeting place between sport and street-art, its modules being transformed into support of artworks. Open to all, beginners as well as experts, Colorama is also a place of meetings and mediation where learning sessions and sports and cultural events are organized. A unique place of its kind!
