This restaurant is first a butchery… and this halal butcher is part of the legend of Roubaix since its founder, Mohamed Medahi, pioneered the halal in the metropolis. Arriving in France in 1948, after working in a factory, he opened in the 1960 s the first Muslim butchery and the quality of his meats and preparations already attracted crowds… The Meziane restaurant in Roubaix is the newest of the group. Not to be missed: They're smiling at the scented farce and their roasted chickens. More than 250 places inside, 100 outside… We're getting there and we're getting there!
