Restaurant and hotel offering classic brasserie dishes in Maubeuge.

The Grand Hotel has opened its restaurant area a few years ago: The Place. You can enjoy classic brasserie dishes: salads, mussels, burgers or welshes. Despite the size of the menu, the dishes are fresh and, which is rare in breweries, all are homemade. There are even more high-end products such as frogs' legs, oysters, snails or foie gras among the starters. As for drinks, we will appreciate the beautiful selection of beers: Chimay bleue, Duvel, Karmeliet or Saint-Feuillien. No risk-taking, but the quality is there. A beautiful place!

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cet hôtel. La chambre était très agréable et propre, le personnel très serviable. Hôtel familiale que je recommanderais avec plaisir. De plus nous avons également testé le restaurant où nous avons très bien mangé.

I stayed there only 2 nights. When checked in i asked if they have a wifi code, This was not working at that moment but they would fix it the next day. The next day nothing was fixed and it didn't look they would fix it. When i was there it was in summertime hot outside, i asked if they had airco, the owner smiled at me and said i could have a ventilator that's all, it was terrible warm and the ventilator also never showed up. i hardly could't sleep because off the temperature. And if it was not because of the temperature it would have been from the very hard uncomfortable bed.
Also a visit to my toilet was fun, if i want to sit on the toilet i had to put my hands on the was sink because there was no more space in the toilet.
The room was very small i could hardly move around my bed.
So i never visit this place again
