Leffrinckoucke is a coastal town on the North Sea with a population of just under 5,000. Although traces of the town can be found as early as the Middle Ages, the town did not really take off until the 20th century with the establishment of a steel factory and the development of seaside activities. Like its neighbors, its history was closely linked to the Second World War, during which its beach was one of the embarkation points for Operation Dynamo. An interesting passage during a trip to discover the North in another way, more urban, offbeat and real. Do not hesitate to stop there!
