Restaurant, tea room, pastries to take away... The Galo is all this at the same time and all in coherence! It must be said that in the kitchen (visible from the dining room, by the way), you wear the double hat of pastry chef and cook. And when you see the pastry menu, you can't wait to be at the dessert (but you can also buy some by the way for the most gourmet ones!): wonderful, pavlova, macaroons, crumbles, milk chocolate caracao and salted butter caramel on Breton shortbread... But what we prefer are the fingers: dark chocolate, crunchy hazelnut, milk chocolate nougat and white speculoos chocolate! Simply to fall for! On the salty side, classic dishes such as burgers (with homemade bread!), gratins, salads, welsh, fish and chips or even horseback steaks, but the specialty of the house and that we do not find elsewhere, are the gratinated cliffs: soft and well garnished (especially with northern cheeses such as maroilles or bergues!), they are served with salads. The tea offer is really nice. For a lunch or afternoon break, the Galo is the perfect address!
