This estaminet proposes typical dishes of the Northern gastronomy. The terrace with a view on the Flanders is very appreciable.

In the heart of Flanders, on the inevitable cobbled square of Cassel, this restaurant welcomes you in a very successful estaminet atmosphere. The welcome is warm and friendly. When the weather is nice, the terrace in the back room offers a panoramic view on the surroundings. Typical northern dishes such as the Flemish carbonnade or the potjevleesch are served with a local beer. The desserts are also based on the specialties of the region. We particularly appreciated the crème brûlée with chicory, made with local cream.

Déjeuner gourmand et goûteux. Flamiche au maroilles, carbonnade et bière bien conseillée, café. Malheureusement pas de dessert car repas copieux. Séverine est accueillante, super sympa, simple et très efficace pour le service. Merci Séverine pour votre gentillesse. On reviendra, promis.
