This small picturesque village, with less than 300 inhabitants, is built on the hillsides overlooking the Garonne. At the gateway to the Landes de Gascogne natural park, Saint-Pierre de Buzet is marked by landscapes offering a transition between vineyards and Landes forest. True to the region, the main resource of the village is the production of wines with three wine appellations here. But if you take the time to move away from the village, you can walk among the cork oaks whose bark once supplied the cork factories of Nérac. To see: the classified Romanesque church of the 12th century, the Gallo-Roman tower of Peyrelongue.
