Where to practice an individual sport Montauban

The Équestre Equestrian Centre is located five minutes from the city centre, within the riding complex of the town of Montauban, close to the racecourse and the national stud-gate. The centre offers sports and entertainment activities: CSO (obstacle contest contest), training, internships with exams (Gallop 1 to 7), hiking, endurances, pony games and walks organised in whole days. Amazing outlet of everyday worries!

The Golf de Montauban Les Aiguillons offers a flat and wooded course which spreads its fairways over some 5 720 meters. A 9-hole course of medium difficulty, it is embellished with numerous water obstacles (six large lakes with a total surface area of over 8 hectares). The major interest of the site is to be barely 10 minutes from the city center, which remains one of the assets of the city of Ingres: not having really an urban area, you can quickly have your feet in the grass.

On foot or by bike, go to Boudou for this outing to the birds. From the bridge of Coudol you are quickly heading to the leisure base of Saint-Nicolas-de-la-Grave, from which you will enjoy a privileged point of view on the same name, formed by the confluence of the Tarn and the Garonne. If the place is ideal for the practice of nautical activities, it is also a large ornithological reserve, recognized for the diversity of bird species that inhabit it. The observatory is a little further away; to reach it, you will have to walk along the banks of the Garonne over two kilometres. Then continue to the village of Saint-Nicolas-de-la-Grave, before you go back.

A golf course with beautiful dimensions (6 400 m of course, 18 holes, par 72, which makes it the longest of the region) at 10 minutes of the city center of Montauban... The course, marked out by many water levels, designed by Yves Bureau, a renowned golf architect, includes a section shaded by hundred-year-old oaks, around the Pra de L'Estang manor. All in all, a beautiful wooded area, for this magnificent peri-urban site. In the club-house of the golf, discover also the shop.
