We have the first written mention of Finhan (Limite in Latin) in 680 in the Merovingian period at the time of King Henry. Situated in the valley of the Garonne and the first hill of the Lomagne plateau, the village is close to Montech and the town of Montauban (20 km). You can discover and appreciate the central square decorated with plane and lime trees, the arcades, the town hall and its school. Among others, the church of Saint-Martin with its bell tower of the type, Saint Sernin (Toulouse), the garden of the presbytery and its Merovingian baptistery, the old convent which has become a private school, the Gallo-Roman fountain and its wash houses and the castle of Pérignon, inhabited by a descendant.
