Surrounded by rivers and vineyards where the famous Chasselas de Moissac is harvested, the village, founded more than 750 years ago, can boast eight churches in its commune, whose constructions, destructions and reconstructions span the 12th to the 19th centuries. The commune also has two castles, that of Mondenard and that of Lauture de Cazillac, as well as three remarkable sites: the fountain of Saint Quintin, the spring of Canhac and the bridge of Lissart. In Cazillac, there are also two major works of art not to be missed: a 17th century statue of the Virgin and Child and the painting "The Holy Family" known as the "Virgin of Seville".
