Roumagne is a small rural village that owes its reputation to the fertility of its land and the cultivation of the pansy, the flower of remembrance. Prehistoric and Gallo-Roman remains have been found here, but the main part of its cultural and historical heritage can be found in the churches of Roumagne. You can see the Romanesque church of Saint-Romain, dating from the 12th century, and the church of Saint-Martin de Cadillac (13th century) in the pure Romanesque style, whose portal has been classified as a Historic Monument since 1926. In the village, take five minutes to admire the Gothic church of Saint-Saturnin. Even if you cannot visit it, take a look at the Frémauret castle.
