Would you like to go back to school? We guarantee that Le Préau de l'Horizon will wake up a soft nostalgia in you! After its closure in the 1980's, the former girls' school of Penne-d'Agenais knows a new life thanks to Claire and Jérôme Penot. They bought and completely restored this typically Jules Ferry building, perched at the top of the hill (exceptional view!), to create 5 guestrooms with evocative names. You just have to choose your field according to your affinities: the Littéraire, the Histo-Géo, the Artistique, the Scientifique or the Buissonière suite! The first four rooms, spacious and very pleasant, all have large modern bathrooms and are decorated on the theme of school with old desks, ancient maps, blouses, old schoolbooks... Many small details which give the impression that you make a leap back in time. As for the Buissonnière suite, it was arranged in the former dormitory in a loft-style and can accommodate up to 6 people. Equipped with a very beautiful floor, the dominating colour is white and gray anthracite with wide touches of red which bring it a tonic and modern tone. It is rented as a guestroom or cottage formula (without breakfast). Claire and Jérôme are caring hosts who will lavish a charming welcome on you. The breakfast is served under the courtyard. The swimming pool as well as a tray meals service are a forecast for 2015.

Je recommande une halte à l'ancienne école de filles. Chambre d'hôtes spacieuse et confortable relookée avec goût. Accueil chaleureux de Jerome, vue magnifique sur la vallée du Lot, agréable petit-déjeuner ! Délicieuse confiture maison abricot-violette... ????prestation au top !
