In 2013, Didier Pelvillain, originally from Albas, decided to develop his vineyard at the Domaine du Théron in Prayssac. 12 hectares of vines planted on the hillsides, surrounding the winery, on a unique terroir of the Cahors vineyard. Composed of soils with little clay, tawny sands, ochre and ferruginous stones, this terroir brings the expression of a very beautiful minerality in the wines. The estate is situated on a unique panoramic site and combines a spacious reception area with the most modern winery.

The cellar welcomes the public on reservation, for a commented visit of the cellar and the winery, from 30 mn to 1h, followed by a wine tasting. Visit the website for more information. Depending on availability, during vacations, weekends and public holidays, visits can be made on call and/or by appointment. The wines of the Domaine du Théron are available in the cellar in Albas: open from Monday to Friday, from 9am to 12pm and from 2pm to 5:30pm.
