Overlooking the Lot valley, Monclar, built around a fortified town in the middle of the 13th century, offers here and there vast panoramas over the Lot and the Tolzac. Wandering through the narrow streets, you will discover pretty 13th century corbelled houses, the church of Saint-Clair and its listed porch. This is the village of Roger and Guy Louret, the village where the theatre is king. Wonderful evenings are shared with excellent comedians in this village. Don't be surprised to discover that Bedos, Semoun, Malavoy or Robin often come here: their theatrical roots are here! While walking around, go to the Tolzac and admire the chapel of the Prelates.
